How To Get To The Camp

Camp is located in Bastati, on highway FOČA-NIKŠIĆ. It is exactly on 16th kilometer from gas station MAJNEKS in FOCA.

If you travel from Belgrade, recommended route is Belgrade-Cacak-Uzice-Visegrad-Gorazde-Foca-Bastasi.

IMPORTANT:

From Belgrade you will travel via Ibarska Magistrala (Ibar Highway), you come to PRELJINA where you have to turn toward CACAK go via fast highway around CACAK center toward UZICE.
Once you arrive to UZICE continue toward ZLATIBOR where you have to make turn toward VISEGRAD. Once you arrive in VISEGRAD follow signs toward SARAJEVO. On the first intersection once in VISEGRAD, you have to turn right, go UNDER the bridge and then connect to that bridge on right, that will take you across river DRINA.
In between VISEGRAD and GORAZDE is town called USTIPRACA. In USTIPRACA you turn left, across bridge then follow signs towards FOCA. Again once you are in GORAZDE follow signs towards FOCA. Once you arrive in FOCA, follow signs toward NIKSIC

IMPORANT:

Do not go to FOCA across new bridge, continue STRAIGHT. The signs near the bridge give directions LEFT-FOCA CENTER, STRAIGHT-SARAJEVO AND NIKSIC. Continue STRAIGHT TOWARD NIKSIC!!

There is three more turns from this point to get to the camp.
1. LEFT (across bridge on BISTRICA river – Bridge no1)
2. LEFT (across bridge on DRINA river – Bridge no2)
3. RIGHT (immediately after the bridge on DRINA river)

BEFORE YOUR 2ND TURN LEFT (before you go across bridge on DRINA river BRIDGE No2) you will see MAJNEKS GAS STATION. From this gas station to the camp is exactly 16km. Pay attention to the odometer!!

FOCA – BASTASI is part of the highway where you have to pay extreme attention to the road conditions and to the width of the road. 15k away from FOCA on the right side of the road you will see speed limit sign 30KM MAX, then sharp turn sign and about 20 meters from there large sign RAFTING TARA, turn right (on the newly paved road going downhill). 400 meters later you will find large parking lot that you have to pass completely. 100 meters away from the parking is the camp.

IMPORTANT:

1. LARGE SINGN RAFTING TARA where you have to turn is located in the left sharp turn lane
2. If you happen to pass signs leading you toward camp, 4km later you will get to place called SCEPAN POLJE, border between BOSNIA and MONTENEGRO. Turn back :)
