On a very lovely day when the weather condition is favourable, the beauty of the landscape can be seen perfectly while at the peak of any mountain. The fact that you are high above the sea level, everything below you will turn out to be tiny.

The main reason for putting down this information is to help you out as you prepare yourself to go skiing on the mountain. You have to put in mind that in order to have a very nice ride, the clothing that you have put on will play part if you are to succeed.

The temperature on the mountain can be as low as zero degrees centigrade which imply that the cold winds will be on a move. The way you dress has to suit that type of weather condition because you don’t want to risk your dear life by not preparing yourself for the ride.

Nowadays, before the people go out for skiing they make sure they have the best clothing that will manage the harsh weather condition on top of the mountain. For status, consider putting on a nice under garment from which the rest of the outfit can follow.

Thermal fleece is the perfect under wear that will give you the best results. Its material is made in a way that it has to provide warmth to the body as well as holding the excess sweat that can mess up your lovely outfit.

Try putting on the ancient wool ski sock plus your boot warmer if you want to make your feet extra warm. If your feet are in good shape, it will give you the courage to ski very well without finding any problem.

A combination of wool socks and the activated charcoal boot warmer will help to keep your lovely feet warm for a considerable amount of hours.

Due to the fact that skiing is carried out in a cold atmosphere, make sure your body is well equipped to withstand the cold from which you will have a very nice time.

If you’re looking for a Winter Sport that the whole family can participate in and have a good time, why not consider Ice Fishing? Each year many people set out to enjoy the sport of ice fishing, and many of these people get their families involved. It’s easy, wholesome fun that everyone can enjoy and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to get started.

But what does a Greenhorn need start ice fishing? There are a lot of choices when choosing fishing gear available today, a Newbie can easily lay out hundreds of their hard earned money on ice fishing gear and never get what they really need.

With this in mind, I sit down and made up this guide that will help you select the basic gear you’ll need to get started in the Sport of Ice Fishing. You’ll be surprised to know that most of this gear can be had for less than a hundred dollars or so. If you want to spend more, then by all means do so, but if you’re just wanting to try it out a few times, then the money invested is minimal.

To begin with, you’ll want to find an ice auger to bore holes in the ice. For Beginners, I’d want a five, possibly even a 6 inch auger for panfish. If you want to go after bigger fish like Bass, Pike and Walleye, then For Beginners, I’d want a 8 or 10 inch ice auger. You have two choices, power augers or the manual augers. Obviously the manual augers are less expensive but need more work to use. You will also need a scoop to get the ice chips from the hole in the ice.

You’ll need a way to get the fish to the surface. For this, you’ll want to use tip ups or a rod and reel. Multiple tip ups allow you to fish many holes while a rod and reel will restrict you to only one hole at a time. Some ice fishermen increase the odds of them bringing home fish by using a combination of tip ups and rod and reels.

Don’t overlook the line you’ll be using to catch fish. Regular fishing line will become brittle and break easily when fishing through a hole in the ice. Look for fishing line that is designed specifically for ice fishing. There are many on the market or you can order it through catalog retailers such as Cabela’s.

For bait, you can buy mealworms, spikes or nightcrawlers for panfish. For bigger fish, you may want to use minnows or artificial lures like tear drop jigs or jigging spoons. It’s best to take a variety since you never know what the fish will want once you get out on the ice.

It would be wise to buy something to sit on. Many seasoned ice fishermen prefer an ordinary five gallon bucket. Few Beginners will bring along lawn chairs out on the ice, but a 5 gallon bucket will also help you haul your gear to and from the ice.

Other miscellaneous things you may need are an ice scoop to get the ice chips out of your hole, a cooler or other item to carry your fish in and maybe a portable heater. Some hardcore fishermen even take sonars to see the structure on the bottom of the lake. Ice fishing is easy to get started in. You can spend as much or little as you want so get out there and grab your gear. Be sure to read up on the regulations and safety rules before heading out.

Ice fishing gear doesn’t have to cost an arm and leg. You can get great deals on reliable ice fishing supplies at DealsOnFishingReels dot com. You can save lots of money by being frugal and selecting your tackle wisely. Ebay is a great source for finding deals on ice equipment including name brand fishing rods and other fishing tackle. Now get out and enjoy a day of ice fishing.

There are some serious high performance products out there for our vehicles, and these include Akamoto exhaust systems. These are specifically designed to improve the performance of our vehicles by reducing the air flow blockers in our engine. In layman’s terms, this means that when you press the gas pedal, you get where you’re going in a much bigger hurry.

When this portion of a car is worked on, most of the time it is hoisted into the air. This gives the mechanic or car owner a way to visually see the connections and pipes as they go through your car. The idea behind redoing the exhaust is to remove blockages from the air flow, as it works from the radiator to the tail pipe.

If you are unsure of how to do this, there are plenty of online research instructions to teach you. You can follow these videos or text directions and they will lead you step-by-step. This can save you money from hiring someone to do it, or it can be an informational session to research how to do it at a later date.

These particular exhaust arrangements are known for their quality, and their 30-year guarantee. Known for their high performance, they are used in racing vehicles and anyone who wants to add a little more power to their driving. Because they are anti-corrosion parts, they will do well in environments where the drivers deal with a little more moisture than normal.

If you want to do some comparison shopping of parts, you can do this online. There are many sites that offer these various system parts at discounted prices, and you can see how close they are to your location in order to speed up shipping. The advantage of shopping online for them is to avoid driving around unnecessarily checking with people in your area.

Certainly, the opinions of local experts would be helpful in this case. If you are thinking of attempting an install for the first time, then you might consider talking to them about how to go about doing this. They will be able to give you valuable advice on what parts are necessary for your vehicle and which are optional.

Nitrous oxide is normally reserved for street racing cars and high performance vehicles. Because you can upgrade the other engine parts, however, this does not have to be so focused on only those types of vehicles. After consulting experts and other teaching sources, you will see that you can even upgrade a retro vehicle to the specs you desire.

With Akamoto exhaust systems, you can do quite a bit in terms of giving yourself some extra speed and horsepower to work with. They are efficient and work well without decreasing your gas mileage extensively. They are also very green and work well with environmental standards, avoiding any more created pollution than necessary. The more technology advances, these will help our cars perform even better, whether you’re working with a new or old vehicle.

Get complete information and details about the advantages of adding a stainless steel exhaust system to your vehicle today! When you are searching for a distinctive and unique exhaust back box, you can find it easy and fast!

The paintball marker and paintball were originally developed in the 1970s as an easier method for forestry personnel to be able to mark trees more efficiently. It was also developed for ranchers to be able to mark their livestock from a distance rather than chase after them with the other types of markers that were available. Ranchers still use markers and oil based paintballs to mark their livestock today.

Around the late 1970s, Charles Gaines, Hayes Noel and Bob Gumsey were sitting around discussing a way to infuse the thrill of the hunt and the skill of survival into a game. With the help of alcohol, as one could not dream up this sport sober, George Butler introduced the three to the Nelspot 007 marking gun he had found in a catalog. The original marking gun used by ranchers to mark livestock. The iconic light bulb was lit and the extreme sport of paintball was born.

In 1981, on 80 wooded acres, Charles, Hayes, Bob and George along with 8 of their closest buddies, got together to play the first game of capture the flag. It was every man for himself and not an ounce of safety equipment was utilized. Bob Gumsey was selling sporting goods and immediately saw the marketability of the game. Charles Gaines was a writer and recounted the event in an article that he wrote for Sports Illustrated.

In 1982, in response to the interest the article in Sports Illustrated had ignited, the three original friends developed a rule book and naming their invention the National Survival Game or NSG and Bob opened up the first outdoor paintball facility. Since that time, paintball has exploded as a global sport and is the third most popular extreme sport in the world.

In 1983 was the first professional paintball tournament, with a grand prize of 14,000. This first tournament was won by a team from Canada called The Unknown Rebels. Originally these tournaments were held in the woods to utilize the natural outdoor terrain and natural obstacles. It has been said that play in the tournaments and the original rules were developed by using the story line of Richard Connell’s short story titled “The Most Dangerous Game” in which the main character stalks another human.

From when it first started until today, paintball is still considered one of the most popular extreme sport in the world. You can find a facility almost anywhere, there is usually one to be found. It is a multimillion dollar sport that shows no signs of diminishing in popularity. Played by both professionals and amateurs, the sport knows only one age limit. No one under 10 is allowed to play. There are no gender limitations with the sport and virtually anyone that isn’t afraid of a little bruising can play the sport.

Paintball markers have also evolved by becoming peace keeping weapons. Paintball has been used by SWAT teams, police forces and correctional facilities to simulate real firearm. Although used in this environment the marker utilizes a higher velocity of 300 to 350 feet per second and fires a pepper ball. Pepper balls are the same size as a regular paintball but are manufactured with a harder shell and filled with the active ingredients in pepper spray.

From its birth in 1981 until today, the sport of paintball and its equipment is continuing to grow and change, hamper by only the imagination.

Stay safe while you are having fun playing paintball. An unplanned trip to the emergency room is not a good way to prematurely end a match of paintball.

Stay safe while you are having fun playing paintball. An unplanned trip to the emergency room is not a good way to prematurely end a match of paintball. There are three basic rules that all paintball players should follow to protect not only yourself, but also your fellow paintballers. First: always wear your paintball mask (goggles & full face mask) at all times on the field. (Wear it over your eyes; not sitting on top of your head.) Second: Between matches use your barrel plug, barrel condom or barrel sock and always engage the safety. Third: Practice good muzzle control and always treat the paintball marker as if it was loaded. These three rules are very similar to rules found at all gun or shooting ranges.

Going back to the first rule, always wear your mask on the field. If a paintball were to hit your eye going at 250-300 ft. per second, the human eye will be severely injured because it is so fragile. This rule is as equally important in-between matches as during matches. In fact, the down-time between matches is actually a more dangerous time than during the match. The person next to you might have forgotten to engage their safety when the match ended. If the or she is careless about how they handle their marker…

The second rule: between matches always use a barrel plug, barrel condom or barrel sock. This protects everyone in case the safety is accidentally left on and there’s a paintball in the chamber. It is much easier to clean the barrel of your paintball gun than treat an injury from a paintball at point-blank range. Another component of this rule is trigger finger placement. Between matches, don’t leave your finger on the trigger! Take your index finger out of the trigger guard, it will naturally lay along the body of the marker. There are two reasons for this. First, as previously mentioned, the adrenaline rush following the end of a match, it’s easy to forget to engage your safety. Secondly, the safety is a mechanical device, and there is a possibility that it could either be defective or fail.

The third rule: Practice good muzzle control. Muzzle control is awareness of where you are pointing your paintball marker at all times. It’s standard in paintball, as with firearms, to point the muzzle straight up when you are not shooting. If a paintball marker is accidentally fired, good muzzle control ensures that the paintball won’t hit the person standing next to you, or yourself. This rule is often stated as “Always treat a gun (or paintball marker) as if it were loaded.

To review paintball safety: Wear your mask properly at all times on the paintball field. When not playing, always use a barrel plug, barrel sock, or barrel condom and engage the safety. Practice good muzzle control. Between matches do not directly point the paintball marker at another person. Keeping these essential safety rules in mind will help keep your paintball experience to be more enjoyable.

When you get enough people involved in a popular sport, somehow and someway there will be someone who figures out a way to get paid to play. Extreme sports are no different, although you have to be either crazy or have a death wish to get involved. Who thinks of riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed and as you are flying through the air you let go, do a handstand on the seat and somehow manage to get back to your original position before the bike lands on solid ground. Oh and you aren’t supposed to wipe out the bike either. Extreme sports range from the extreme motor sports to free running. Hanging out in the number three position in the world of extreme sports is paintball.

Paintball like other extreme sports has quickly taken off into the world of the professional player. Established in 1981, by a group of 12 friends, this young sport already had professionals at the early age of 2 when in 1983 the first tournament was held with $14,000 up for grabs by the team that would win. Tournaments are usually held in seasons, and can run from March all the way through October. These tournaments are well organized and host players from all divisions.

Just like in baseball, paintball has players and teams ranked at the professional level, semi-pro level, and three divisional levels, DI, DII and DII. Some of the leagues that exist today are the United States Paintball League (USPL) with 16 professional teams from all over the United States, The Paintball Sports Promotions (PSP) located in the United States, Millennium Series in Western Europe, Centrino Series of Eastern Europe and the National Collegiate Paintball Association (NCPA) in the United States and in Canada. Although the professional paintball player may not have a high salary in relation to other professional sports, an example of one would be the salary of Oliver Lang who signed a 3 year deal with the Las Angeles Ironmen for $100,000 in the mid 2000s. Endorsements are also part of the three year deal that are not included in the salary.

Is it difficult to become a professional paintball player? It is probably not as hard as it is to become a professional baseball or football player, but there is still work involved. Developing your skills over several years and playing with a variety of teams lends a hand to making it in the professional field of paintball. Play different types of paintball games so that you are familiar with all types of play. Learn about your equipment and become and expert with it. A great professional knows his equipment and what do to when a problem arises out on the field of play. Know the game inside and out. Join a team that is dedicated to lots of practice and is willing to foot the bill when it comes to entering into tournaments. Sponsorships will not automatically come your way, you have to prove yourself and your endorsements will follow. Follow your dreams and Game ON!

Myths and rumors are a fact of life. You can find myths everywhere and about everything. Myths and rumors are created when miscommunication occurs or someone states a false statement. There are many common myths that pertain to the sport of paintball. It is important that these myths are cleared up so that current and future paintball lovers don’t cruise through their paintball career actually believing these things.

Myth #1: Good Equipment Results in Success

This makes no sense at all. You cannot be the best paintball player simply by purchasing the most expensive equipment. Saying this would be like saying that you can become the best bowler by buying the best bowling ball. The bowling ball doesn’t matter at all if it is always in the gutter. With this being said, equipment can step your game up to the next level, but this only occurs when you game is at a high level to begin with. Going back to the good equipment, it doesn’t matter how much paint your gun can shoot per minute if you can’t hit anything.

Myth #2: Sights don’t Work in Paintball

At first glance, this doesn’t seem like a myth. Who would want to use a sight in this adrenaline rushing, fast-paced game? If you take the time to learn how to use a sight properly, you will be able to shoot with more accuracy and speed.

With further thought, this is simply not true. Sights are extremely helpful in particular situations in paintball where you need more accuracy on your target. If you are quietly waiting to drop in on an opponent you will have time to get him in your sights and hit him square with the first shot. Granted, I don’t use my sight for every situation because I would be shot in an instant, but there are times when I clean house with my sight. I think that a sight is a useful tool in strategic situations.

Myth #3: Long Barrels Shoot More Accurate

The length of the barrel only needs to be as long as it takes for the paintball to reach maximum speed. Why would you want it any longer than that? After the paintball as topped out at its maximum speed, the barrel will act as a surface that causes more friction with the paintball and in turn slow the paintball down. This means that not only does a longer barrel fail to increase accuracy but it also slows the speed of the paintball. Barrels of paintball guns are in no way similar to gun barrels and therefore we can’t take the theories that apply to guns and simply apply them to paintball guns.

Myth #4: Paintball is not a Business

Paintball companies are notorious for preaching that they are in the business to help and service the paintball player. There are a few things wrong with this statement. First of all, the company says “they are in business” which implies that they are seeking a profit. How do businesses generate profits? Profits are generated by branding and selling products. Paintball companies should not necessarily become your friends, they are businesses as well, and they are in the business to make a profit out of you!

Paintballs are made of paint, so the rules of storage are very similar to storing cans of paint. Paintballs are designed to be water-soluble. This is an advantage for ease of clean-up, but a disadvantage for long-term storage. The shell of a paintball is made with glycerin and gelatin, and the paint in the core doesn’t contain any water. Its construction means that paintballs interact with the environment, just like your skin. In a dry climate, it will dry out and in a humid climate it will absorb the excess water from the air.

To understand how to store paintballs, it helps to understand how paintballs are made.

When storing paintballs over a long period of time, when possible keep them inside the house. A heated and air-conditioned house will keep the temperature at an acceptable level. Paintballs are like fruit, they need to be handled with care and delicacy. Paintballs, like fruit, have a shelf live and can go bad if they are too old, if they have been frozen or been exposed to too much heat. Tie shut the plastic bag inside the box, otherwise the paintballs will either dry out or draw in too much water and won’t be usable. Avoid using bad paintballs, they will cause a lot of breakage during games and damage your paintball hopper. In cold weather, using frozen paintballs is very dangerous and the impact could hurt other people.

During a day of playing paintball, the exposure time to the atmosphere is too short to have any severe effects unless it’s extremely hot or cold. During the fall and spring it will be sufficient to make sure that you remember to tightly seal the plastic bags. Paintballs aren’t designed to be stored in temperatures above the mid-80s F. During the summer, don’t keep the box, or boxes, in your car with the windows closed. If possible take the box outside and keep it in the shade. if you are traveling with the paintballs, keep them in a cooler with plenty of ice packs when you are driving. Remember, the goal is to keep the paintballs under about 85 degrees F, not to freeze them. In colder weather, make sure the paintballs don’t freeze. Look for dimples, like on a golf ball, if you suspect that you have a box of paintballs that have been frozen.

Here are some guidelines for purchasing paintballs. Paintballs don’t store well over time, so when possible wait and don’t buy them more than a week or two before you are going to play. Only buy the amount of paintballs that you know that you will be shooting for that day. Don’t stock up on paintballs even if your local store is having a sale. You get what you pay for. Cheap paintballs tend to burst more in your marker and its barrel than quality paintballs. At the end of a day of playing paintball, double-check your box to be sure that you tied the plastic bag tight. If you don’t play over the winter, store the paintballs inside the house. A couple days before playing, check your box. Nothing is worse than arriving at the field ready to play, and opening the box only to find out that the paintballs are now a slushy mess. If the paintballs appear okay but are a little too soft or sticky to the touch, don’t give in to temptation and use them. Instead of having fun all day, you will be cleaning your marker over and over again all day.

There were stalls all over the area with all sorts of resto’s and different sorts of shops. There is a school in the corner and hardware at the end of the street. It is such a busy street. There were vendors along the sides of the road blubbering, selling stuff and talking endlessly. As it was getting warmer, I started getting tired. I got more tired watching them standing there, loitering and selling. I walked and observed. There were beggars roaming around. I felt too tired of having been exposed to this kind of environment but it is really a good place for business. And then I passed by a vacant idle lot. The grass was high and unkept, as if the property has been abandoned. And then I thought to myself “does, the owner of the lot, know what he is missing because of letting this piece of land stand useless in a very busy street?” I thought maybe he has gone abroad that he has not seen the potential of the area for business. You can do a lot with that piece of property, too bad it’s not in good shape.

I passed by a busy street, vehicles were building up, both private and public transportation. There were establishments, big and small.

So in my mind, I thought of my own plans for the land – if only it was mine. I would put up a recreational activity area or a Function Hall to hold events… And I can also make a paintball field out of it especially that it is highly visible and accessible. But if I am going to set up a business like it I would have to research and know so much about paintball. I would have to think of a theme for my very own paintball arena would it be like the usual ‘in the woods’ type of field, or would it be the watery and muddy type. I still have to conceptualize and plan everything especially that it might be costly also to invest in the gaming gadgets of paintball. It is fun how imagination works sometimes. I am planning of a costly business and the lot I have been thinking about belongs to somebody else who doesn’t even know I exist.

Actually what if instead of a paintball field, I make use of the space to build badminton court to accommodate those players and find instructors to broaden my business. What If I also put food carts inside for the players to divulge after a very tiring badminton game. It sounds pretty good but I would rather build it into a court that is convertible anytime in case badminton’s out, then another would sprout. It is too tiring to think of business ideas that would work the way I want it. Even on this very busy street, when you put up something inappropriate, it will still be a flop.
